In 2021, Pada Build constructed its first home on the Big Island of Hawaii, marking founder Tony Padavich's debut as the sole leader of a project. Recognizing the urgent need for starter homes, Tony channeled his passion for real estate and construction into addressing this gap. With the support of a dedicated team, he successfully completed the project.
Hawaii's housing market is polarized, with ultra-wealthy vacationers and local workforce residents. Tony focused on building for the latter, aiming to create affordable housing for first-time buyers. After purchasing the land in 2021, the home was completed and sold by summer 2022.
The home was competitively priced to appeal to first-time buyers, whether they were families or individuals beginning their wealth-building journey. Despite rising costs, Pada Build achieved a positive return on investment.
